João Robles joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2002 and became a Partner in 2015. He plays a key role in co-coordinating both the Angola Desk and the office in Porto.
Developing his professional career in the Corporate and M&A Department, he has also gained extensive experience in the Real Estate sector, focusing on both Portuguese and Angolan jurisdictions. Based in Porto, João has led some of our largest M&A operations in northern Portugal.
Over the past 10 years, João has been deeply involved in the Oil & Gas sector, providing legal counsel to both oil operators and service providers, particularly within the Angolan jurisdiction.
As the co-head of the Angola Desk, João possesses in-depth knowledge of Angola's regulatory landscape, which has earned him recognition and recommendations in several international legal directories.
