Eversheds Sutherland advises fast-growing eCommerce fulfilment provider Huboo on market entry in Germany

Eversheds Sutherland advised the British eCommerce fulfilment provider Huboo on its entry into the German market.

The fast-growing service provider, which is opening a 10,000 square-metre logistics centre in Leipzig for the German market at the end of April will handle picking, packing and shipping to customers around the world. It also integrates the merchants' offers into sales channels such as Amazon, Ebay and Shopify.

Founded in the UK in 2017, Huboo offers a comprehensive, software-driven fulfilment service for all sizes of businesses across Europe and has begun to expand its scalable model to the world. Germany is the third country in Huboo's European expansion plans, after the company launched in the Netherlands (Eindhoven) in June last year and in Spain (Madrid) in October. A minimum of 250 jobs will be created in the new logistics centre in Leipzig.
