Trevor Pope advises publicly held and private firms in mergers and acquisition and private capital matters, including private equity transactions and venture capital investments.
He counsels clients on securities regulations, private offerings, capital raising, and the private placement of securities. Trevor has experience in various business transactions of differing sizes and complexities.
Before joining Eversheds Sutherland as an Associate, Trevor served as the Student Body President of the University of Florida. He also participated in the Eversheds Sutherland Summer Associate program.
- Represented the owner of the Kodak Moments and Kodak Alaris businesses in connection with the sale of those businesses to a private equity firm in a transaction spanning 10 jurisdictions in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
- Represented Valley National Bank, a publicly traded commercial financial institution, in its sale of Agile Premium Finance, a former division of its banking and specialty financial services business.
- Advised GMS Inc., a publicly traded specialty building products distributor, with its acquisition of Kamco Supply Corporation for consideration of approximately $321.5 million.
- Represented Sunergy, a DeSpac target company, in its business combination with ESGEN Acquisition Corp.
- Represented IGM Financial, one of Canada's largest diversified wealth and asset management companies, in its purchase of an approximately 20.5 percent equity interest in Rockefeller Capital Management, for consideration of approximately $622 million.
