We assisted SMBC Bank EU AG in a financing arrangement

We acted as legal advisors to SMBC Bank EU AG in a financing arrangement where Kojamo Plc obtained MEUR 150 unsecured financing from SMBC. The financing arrangement consists of a MEUR 100 revolving credit facility and a MEUR 50 loan.

SMBC Bank EU AG is part of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, a major financial institution headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It is one of Japan's largest banks and a part of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMFG), a leading global financial services group. SMFG’s common shares are listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Premier Market of the Nagoya Stock Exchange. SMFG’s American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) are also listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

Kojamo is Finland's largest private residential real estate investment company and one of the country's largest investors.
