Tasso is a Partner in our Employment Law Department. Tasso was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2012 and has more than 12 years PQE in employment law.
Tasso regularly (i) chairs & prosecutes disciplinary hearings, medical incapacity hearings and poor performance hearings (ii) represents clients in the High Court, CCMA arbitrations and Labour Court trials and applications, on a variety of issues and (iii) provides employment opinions and services to major high-profile clients in relation to sale of businesses, retrenchments, company restructures, amending terms and conditions of employment, labour brokering, drafting, implementing and amending company policies, black economic empowerment, discrimination matters, strike action, collective bargaining involving employee trade unions, transfers of employment and multi-jurisdictional employment issues involving local and overseas employers, among other things. Tasso has deals with civil and criminal law matters. He has well-rounded experience and particularly enjoys appearing at Court and representing clients in motion and arbitration (action) proceedings.

- JAS, TIGERS: Provided advice, assisted with and executed parts of a global acquisition by client (JAS) of Tigers Logistics, and dealing with all employment issues (in South Africa) arising from the acquisition
