Stacey Kern is a partner in the firm’s M&A and Private Equity practice and serves as a member of the Eversheds Sutherland Global Board of Directors and the firm’s US Executive Committee.
Stacey has more than 25 years of experience counseling private equity funds, their portfolio companies, and public and private companies in a variety of complex domestic and cross-border business transactions.
In particular, Stacey has extensive experience representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, complex restructurings, private equity transactions, joint ventures, divestitures and leveraged buyouts.
- Represented MiddleGround Capital in its sale of Lindsay Precast.
- Represented ADT Commercial, a portfolio company of GTCR, in its acquisitions of Newtech Systems, Portland Safe, Apex Integrated Security Solutions, Riverside Fire & Security, and Customized Service Concepts.
- Represented Ideagen Software, Inc., a portfolio company of Hg Capital, in the purchase of all equity securities in Tritan Software Corporation, Opes Navium Limited, and Naves Mundi Ltd.
- Represented IRIS Capital, a portfolio company of Hg Capital, in its acquisition of Conarc, Inc., a software company.
- Represented Acacium Group, a portfolio company of Onex Partners, in its acquisition of R&D Partners, a staffing company.
