Tara is an Associate in the Capital Markets & Investments Practice Group.
She advises clients, including business development companies (BDCs), investment advisors and mutual funds, on a broad range of corporate governance issues, capital-raising efforts and regulatory filing needs with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Tara participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program. During law school, she interned at the SEC in the Office of Commissioner Peirce, at the CFTC in the Office of Commissioner Johnson and at FINRA in the Criminal Prosecution Assistance Group. Before attending law school, Tara worked for one of the largest mutual fund companies in the US, where she held her Series 7 and 63 licenses.
