Matt is a Principal associate in our tax group. He handles all areas of tax law, with a focus on direct and indirect tax disputes (notably in the industrial, life sciences and technology sectors).
Matt bolsters his tax disputes practice with a robust advisory and transactional tax practice across corporate, real estate and commercial areas.
With a foot in both the dispute/advisory camps, Matt is well placed to assist with the technical and strategic elements of tax matters. Matt is recognised as a “key lawyer” in the Legal 500 for Tax Litigation and Investigations and Corporate Tax.
Matt is also passionate about pro bono and access to legal services, working as the Pro Bono lead in the Leeds office and partnering with University of Law’s Pro Bono Clinic for several years.
