Zoe is a Senior Associate on our Commercial team, specializing in strategic contracts, technology and consumer law.
She is a core member of Eversheds Sutherland’s Consumer, Financial Services and Education sectors, with particular involvement in the Tech in Financial Services subsector. Zoe specializes in all types of commercial contracts, including terms and conditions of supply and purchase, supply chain arrangements, outsourcing arrangements, IT, cloud and software agreements, consumer terms and conditions, IP licences and assignments, confidentiality agreements, consultancy agreements, and broker agreements.
She uses her experience and knowledge of clients to deliver service excellence. For example, Zoe completed a six-month secondment to a major utilities provider and uses her understanding of their key business drivers to advise on their most strategic matters (such as a multi-million IT framework agreements).

Zoe embraces change and innovation to go beyond client expectations and keep up with the pace of change in legal services. For example, she regularly uses AI technology in respect of M&A due diligence and has worked with clients to tailor Eversheds Sutherland’s Collaborate tool to their specific needs.

She has developed her legal experience in a holistic manner and her experience in consumer law, IT, strategic contracts and IP all lend themselves well to providing wide-ranging advice to clients. Zoe has extensive experience advising clients on strategic commercial contracts, including:
- preparing and negotiating many business-critical transitional services agreements for FS clients to facilitate a multi-million acquisitions of Fintech companies
- developing strategic precedent contracts for various clients in the FS and Consumer sectors
- advising major retailers on their global website expansion projects, which included collating and advising on consumer law compliance in 50+ countries
- advising a FS client on its launch of a novel online and app-based customer proposition
- advising a major utilities provider on a complex multi-supplier framework agreement for digital transformation and consultancy services, and negotiating the same with each supplier
- advising clients in the Education sector in relation to their student terms and conditions, offer letters, student protection plans and accommodation contracts from a consumer law perspective
- advising numerous FS clients on their material outsourcing agreements, focusing particularly on their compliance with the EBA Guidelines and PRA Supervisory Statement
Zoe regularly provides commercial contracts, consumer law and digitalization training to clients, including clients in the Consumer, Financial Services and Educations sectors.
