Evan Johnson counsels clients in all matters of complex commercial transactions, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Evan represents public companies, private equity firms, venture capital firms and other diverse private companies engaged in a variety of complex M&A transactions, including cross-border transactions. Additionally, he offers general corporate governance and commercial contract support. Evan advises clients across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, technology, energy and building materials.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Evan was an associate in the corporate and investment management practice of a major law firm. Prior to that, he was a legal assistant for a global investment and advisory financial services firm in Chicago. During his time there, he advised the firm on applicable regulatory developments, compliance matters related to the Investment Company Act and a variety of corporate governance matters.
