Eversheds Sutherland advises Internet of Things Technology Company on its acquisition of MachinesTalk Company JSC

Eversheds Sutherland and AlDhabaan & Partners in association with Eversheds Sutherland advised Internet of Things Technology Company (“IoT2”) on its proposed strategic acquisition of a 100% stake of MachinesTalk Company JSC (“MachinesTalk”).

IoT2 is a joint venture between Saudi Telecom Company and the Public Investment Fund, which was established to provide Internet of Things (“IoT”) solutions amid the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation strategy.

MachinesTalk is one of the largest Saudi companies in the IoT domain and it has delivered diversified solutions focused on smart mobility, with additional capabilities in smart buildings and facilities, smart cities, and industrial IoT. 

The Eversheds Sutherland team was led by Partner, Lana Habash, with support from Senior Associate, Rhydian Wyn, and Associate, Yasmine Odeh, along with Partners, Mohammad Al Ahmad and Ibrahim Alsultan, and Associate, Faisal AlShaikh of AlDhabaan & Partners in association with Eversheds Sutherland.
