Bobby Patton counsels domestic and international insurers on a variety of regulatory and corporate matters.
He advises clients on formation and licensing of insurers and insurance intermediaries, market conduct, compliance with state insurance laws governing non-admitted insurance, redomestications, the Holding Company Act, credit for reinsurance and investment law compliance. He also advises on issues related to mergers, acquisitions and other transactions and corporate matters.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Bobby participated in the firm's Summer Associate Program, worked as a management consultant, and served as a Teach for America corps member. During law school, he served as managing editor of the Georgetown Environmental Law Review, interned at a non-profit advocating for students with disabilities and worked in the Juvenile Justice Clinic where he represented children before the DC Superior Court.
