Nathan DeLoatch is an Associate in Eversheds Sutherland's Finance Practice Group.
He focuses his practice on distressed debt, financial restructuring and insolvency-related scenarios, including creditors’ rights litigation and bankruptcy.
Nathan has represented a variety of secured and unsecured creditors, including banks, private equity, other lending institutions, and businesses in the transportation, energy, retail, construction, and restaurant industries in complex bankruptcy proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, insolvency-related litigation, and other distressed debt scenarios. He also has experience representing foreign representatives in chapter 15 bankruptcy proceedings and involuntary debtors in involuntary bankruptcy proceedings.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Nathaniel was an associate in the restructuring practice of a major US law firm. Prior to his career in private practice, he served for several years as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable W. Homer Drake, Jr., of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
