She advises clients on regulatory compliance, corporate governance and transactional matters, including raising capital through debt securities. She also counsels clients on filings with the SEC involving the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Investment Company Act of 1940.
Lydia also maintains an active pro bono practice representing veterans in discharge upgrade cases.
Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, Lydia participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program. During law school, Lydia interned for the United States Department of Justice and served as a staff writer for the Washington and Lee Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice.
