Dmitrijs is an associate and certified data protection officer with over 10 years of professional experience.
He has been a sole practitioner, law firm associate and legal counsel specialising in commercial and corporate law, as well as general EU law, EU competition law and EU law of international relations. Dmitrijs gained his professional experience advising international clients on commercial, corporate and compliance matters. He has provided instrumental advice as a lead counsel in a range of high-profile sector-specific compliance projects and cross-border M&A transactions.
His BJuris thesis has been distinguished with the Swiss Baltic Net Graduate Award as one of the best research papers of the year. His recent research experience also includes collaboration with P. Lasok QC (Barrister, Head of Monckton Chambers) on updating chapters on the right of establishment and freedom to provide services for the latest edition of the Law of the European Union published by Oxford University Press (edited by D. Vaughan CBE QC and A. Robertson QC).
