Dahni’s practice centers on representing creditors’ committees, large creditors, corporate debtors, administrative and collateral agents and others in Chapter 11 proceedings, complex bankruptcy litigation, and other insolvency and restructuring matters.
Dahni guides her clients through a broad range of insolvency and bankruptcy issues, including bankruptcy litigation and appeals, out of court restructuring, distressed M&A and sale transactions under section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing, fraudulent conveyance and preference actions, automatic stay issues, liquidation of estate assets, plan implementation, critical vendor treatment, creditor rights issues, and debtor-side chapter 11 preparation and representation. Her work spans many industries, including the healthcare, pharmaceutical, fitness, aviation, energy, transportation, manufacturing, mass tort, asbestos and entertainment sectors.
Dahni entered legal practice from a background in international dispute resolution and community-based mediation, and she continues to draw on her passion for proactive and collaborative problem-solving in her legal work. She has been a board member of the IWIRC Georgia Network since 2020 and currently serves as Co-Chair. Dahni speaks Spanish and Hebrew.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Dahni was a counsel on the bankruptcy and financial restructuring team of an international law firm.
- Represent the liquidating trustee, and previously the official committee of unsecured creditors, for 100 emergency room medical providers with over $600 million in debt.
- Represent the post-confirmation litigation trustee in the Chapter 11 cases of a producer of mine-to-wellhead fine grain frac sand with more than $500 million of total debt.
- Represent the plan administrator, and previously the official committee of unsecured creditors, of a technology company and its international affiliates that developed automated warehouses for the grocery industry.
- Represented administrative and collateral agent in Chapter 7 case through litigation over majority lenders’ rights to credit bid for the debtor’s assets.
- Represented the official committee of unsecured creditors and the creditor trustee for maker of ophthalmology/optometry software with over $100 million in debt.
