Eversheds Sutherland advises EQT on the acquisition of a prime logistics facility in Borna, near Leipzig, through a sale-and-lease-back transaction with Fiege Real Estate

The 40,000 m² asset, completed in late summer 2025, combines strategic connectivity via the A72 motorway with cutting-edge sustainability features, including EG 40 efficiency standards, DGNB Gold certification (target), and a 4,500 kWp photovoltaic system. This transaction reinforces EQT’s commitment to sustainable logistics infrastructure and highlights Eversheds Sutherland’s expertise in complex real estate and investment deals in Germany and across Europe.
