Updating suite of client precedents to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and Dutyholder regime. Providing internal training and leading client communications in respect of these updates.
- Managing the delivery of collateral warranties for a large scale infrastructure client in respect of a utilities project. Advising on the interplay of the requirements for the collateral warranties with the interface agreement and main works contracts.
- Drafting a suite of collateral warranties in favour of lender for a hotel development project with value of over £40 million. Managing completion of the building contract, development agreement, PCG and collateral warranties.
- Legal due diligence for a developer in support of an AFL transaction with complicated company structure, including a review and report on the building contract, consultant appointment and collateral warranties.
- Advising, drafting, negotiating and completing a building contract based on NEC4 standard form for a local government body, with a contract value of approx. £1 million.
- Drafting a PCG, vesting agreement and collateral warranty for a developer client in conjunction with foreign counsel due to interplay with Italian law.
