Ceri-Ann advises private equity sponsors, sovereign wealth funds and management teams with respect to private acquisitions and disposals and shareholders' investment terms.
Ceri-Ann is a partner in the International Corporate M&A and Private Equity practice in our London office. She has extensive experience advising on and project-managing a wide range of corporate transactions, both cross-border and domestic, including mergers and acquisitions, investments and exits by financial sponsors, joint ventures, minority investments and capital raisings. She also advises management teams in connection with financial sponsor buyouts and exits.
Ceri-Ann spent the first part of her career at a Magic Circle law firm, where she undertook an international secondment and client secondments with a financial sponsor and listed corporate entity.
Clients provide consistently excellent feedback for Ceri-Ann:
"Ceri-Ann has been instrumental in helping us navigate through our transaction. She was professional, business oriented and handled negotiations with the buyer with aplomb. It has been a pleasure to work with her and I have no hesitation in recommending her to any firm to help with their transaction."
"We were very impressed with her high energy and level of hard work – we simply wouldn't have got the transaction completed on time if it hadn't been for Ceri moving everything forward, particularly against the backdrop of a difficult and slow-moving counterparty. Ceri was patient, always calm and on top of everything throughout. She cut through legal issues very quickly, suggesting both pragmatic and commercial solutions. Above all, a genuinely nice person to work with and we look forward to working with her again in the near future."
"Sometimes I have found that in our industry, professionals can by full of self-importance and have an inability to communicate complex issues clearly. Ceri-Ann communicated to a slow, old duffer in a winning way, she was highly knowledgeable, pragmatic, and quite frankly was a credit to your organisation."
Ceri-Ann teaches regularly on the BVCA's Legal Agreements in PE course, has spoken at conferences on law firm leadership.
