Wieger is a Corporate and Notary Partner in the Corporate/M&A group.
He is experienced in Dutch corporate law and corporate governance matters. Wieger is also a (candidate) civil law notary. He has extensive experience in advisory and transactional work in both the corporate/M&A and financial markets practices. His practice focuses on matters ranging from (cross-border) corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, holding structures, mergers and acquisitions, employee participations, and corporate governance advisory. He has a special focus in technology, media and telecom, and health and life sciences sectors.
Wieger co-heads the Dutch notarial department. He also heads the corporate notarial group, as well as the corporate secretarial unit in Amsterdam.
He started his career at Allen & Overy, before moving to Linklaters and Simmons & Simmons. His clients include a wide range of corporates, financial institutions, private equity investors and entrepreneurs — both in the Netherlands and across the globe.
Wieger regularly supports pro bono matters.
