For the third time in a row has the legal practice been able to improve its customer satisfaction score and has now been listed in the overall ranking of the top 20 legal practices which are recommended the most by legal departments. This is the result of the last "kanzleimonitor 2020/21" survey of the German Institute for Legal Departments and In-house Counsel (Deutsches Institut für Rechtsabteilungen und Unternehmensjuristen, diruj) for which approximately 600 legal departments were asked their opinion. In this annual survey, Eversheds Sutherland has been able to continue the positive development of the previous years and has achieved for the first time to be included in the top 20 ranking based on the number of recommendations. Eversheds Sutherland ranks among the top three in two of the overall 14 recommended areas of law and counts among the top 5 legal practices in three other areas of law. The areas of law for which Eversheds Sutherland has been recommended particularly often are mergers & acquisitions and contract law, public law, labour and employment law, real estate and construction law, public construction law, litigation & ADR and antitrust law as well as corporate law and European & international law. "We are very pleased with the favourable ranking and the positive perception of our legal services in the market," says Alexander Niethammer, Managing Partner of Eversheds Sutherland in Germany. "We particularly appreciate this result as it is solely based on the opinion of our clients. With our excellent range of legal services, we can support our clients wherever needed. We will continue to invest in our performance and specialisations thus extending our service quality even further in the future". Seven lawyers of Eversheds Sutherland have been particularly mentioned by general counsel in Germany.
