Jack represents clients in all phases of federal and state tax controversy, including examinations, appeals, and litigation in U.S. Tax Court and state courts. He has extensive experience in advocating for clients in a broad variety of federal and state tax matters involving charitable contributions, listed and reportable transactions, federal and state tax credits, tax refund claims, substantiation audits, and estate and gift tax issues. Jack also advises clients on the tax consequences of various transactions in preparing for or avoiding potential federal and state tax controversies.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Jack worked as an attorney for a nationally recognized tax-focused law firm, where he counseled corporations, large partnerships, and individuals on a wide range of tax matters.
