Sandro is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, a partner in our Litigation group, and heads up the South African Employment Law practice.
Sandro specialises in all aspects of commercial litigation and arbitration, employment law, social media law, competition law and black economic empowerment law. Sandro routinely advises South African blue-chip clients and multi-nationals conducting business in the African region on both contentious and non-contentious employment and civil litigation issues.
He also frequently provides seminars and training to tertiary institutions, the Department of Education and his other clients on a wide variety of subjects.
Sandro has also been featured in the Legal 500 ranking.

- Successfully opposed an urgent application brought against our client by one of its employees who sought an order declaring an internal review hearing of the employee's disciplinary hearing and outcome was unlawful and void ab initio.
- Successfully defending an urgent application brought by an employee of the university to interdict its recruitment process in respect of a Head of Department.
- Represented our client in defending a CCMA unfair dismissal dispute referred against it by a former senior employee who was, pursuant to a disciplinary hearing, dismissed for having been found guilty of gross misconduct, being gender-based bullying.
- He has lectured High Court Civil Procedure to candidate attorneys on behalf of LEAD (Legal Education and Development), and has published articles on his own, and in collaboration with a Judge of the Labour Court on employment related matters
