He has extensive experience advising financial institutions, investors and corporate borrowers on debt finance and commercial transactions, including leveraged and acquisition finance, project finance, asset finance, private credit, pre-IPO and margin finance, real estate finance and general banking transactions.
He advises clients across a number of sectors, including financial services, energy (including renewables), maritime, logistics, infrastructure, manufacturing and hotels & leisure.

Acquisition Finance – General Banking
- A large syndicate of lenders on US$2 billion revolving credit facilities (including a swingline facility) and subsequent US$1 billion bolt-on financing for a major casino consortium, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
- Various financial institutions as mandated lead arranger and bookrunner in relation to up to US$1 billion multicurrency term and revolving facilities for a water projects group, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
- A port terminal operator on its US$250 million voluntary bid and related financing for the acquisition of all equity interests in a maritime company, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
- A syndicate of lenders on a US$420 million outbound acquisition facility for a leading technology conglomerate, listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Project Finance – Renewables
- A club of international banks on various senior bridge loan facilities (in excess of EUR300 million) in favour of an Asia-based power conglomerate for financing the acquisition of solar power portfolios (exceeding 750MW) in Southern Europe.
- A joint venture company and its sponsors on their US$2 billion financing arrangements for the development of a 2x600MW supercritical coal-fired power plant in South-East Asia.
- A financial institution as arranger of various ECA-covered bridge financing arrangements in favour of a Chinese SOE for the development and operation of solar power projects (exceeding 700MW) in the Middle-East.
- A public/private joint venture on its multi-billion US dollar financing and charter arrangements of up to 10 arctic LNG carriers for the Arctic LNG 2 Project.
