Stephen is Of Counsel and is a senior member of the Eversheds Sutherland Real Estate team in Belfast.
Stephen, having initially trained and practiced in a broad range of areas, began to specialise in commercial property in 2012. Since then Stephen has gained vast experience in the commercial real estate sphere before joining the Eversheds Sutherland real estate team in July 2023.
Stephen specialises in commercial/mixed use real estate matters with a particular focus on corporate occupier, financing and landlord and tenant matters.
Stephen has extensive and practical experience in all areas of commercial property law, including:
- Acquisition, disposal and management of both Northern Irish and UK based property.
- Development and financing of property assets.
- Negotiating complex real estate transactions and commercial lease deals for landlords and tenant (office, retail, leisure, logistics).
- Re-structuring and refinancing of property assets.
- Complex title reviews, planning law and environmental law.
