Levon Golendukhin advises clients in all aspects of cross-border dispute resolution, with a focus on investment and commercial arbitration, transnational commercial litigation, and global asset recovery.
Levon represents clients before all levels of US federal and state courts and in arbitrations under the rules of various international and regional arbitration institutions, with particularly significant experience in investment and project disputes and enforcement actions involving sovereign States and their agencies and instrumentalities. With more than a decade of experience helping clients navigate complex private and public international law issues, his clients range from sovereign States to private companies in the mining, civil infrastructure, industrials, energy and transportation sectors. Levon’s advocacy has earned him recognition by US Legal 500 (key lawyer, International Arbitration), Best Lawyers (Ones to Watch - Construction Litigation & Commercial Litigation), Super Lawyers (Rising Star, International).
In addition to his advocacy work, Levon is a trusted advisor to multinational enterprises and sovereign State actors on cutting-edge issues of private international law and at the intersection of business and human rights. Levon also has experience advising sovereign States on post-conflict transitional justice and strategy reform of commercial law for the promotion of industrial policy. He serves as a founding member of the Board of Trustees of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia (AMCA).
Levon frequently publishes scholarship and industry insights on topics in public and private international law, the role of technology in legal practice, and a global approach to dispute prevention and resolution strategy. He is also a frequent guest lecturer at law schools and a speaker at conferences and symposia in international law and cross-border dispute resolution topics.
