Claire Morgan is a partner in the Competition, Trade and Foreign Investment team. She advises across a range of competition law issues, including behavioural matters, compliance training and programmes, and investigations.
Claire has deep experience of advising on regulatory M&A matters including merger control and foreign direct investment (FDI), as well as the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation. She provides strategic advice on UK and EU merger control issues, and has acted on a number of Phase 2 investigations. Claire also regularly manages large-scale multi-jurisdictional filings across multiple jurisdictions on cross-border M&A, working hand-in-hand with our global network of competition lawyers. Claire also has significant expertise in advising on the UK National Security & Investment Act 2021, having acted on a number of in-depth investigations including negotiating remedies for clearance. Claire also advises on the Subsidy Control Act 2022.
